Florida Registered Nurse Christopher Burns

A registered nurse (RN) with experience in multiple areas of medicine, Christopher (Chris) Burns holds a bachelor of science in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida, an associate of science in nursing from Santa Fe College, and a master of science in anesthesiology from Barry University. Christopher Burns’ professional experience in Florida includes posts as a telemetry nurse at Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital in Rockledge and an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura. His accomplishments at Aventura Hospital led to “nurse of the quarter” honors in 2012.

Christopher Burns most recently served a year as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in Alaska, where he performed general and regional procedures as well as monitored anesthesia care. His areas of expertise as a CRNA range from obstetric and pediatric anesthesiology to geriatric anesthesiology. Licensed in both Alaska and Florida, Chris Burns currently lives in the Florida Keys community of Key Largo.
